Subscriptions

Subscription & licence tracking for MSSPs and MSPs

SOC Tally keeps track of the subscriptions and licences MSSPs and MSPs pay for to run their service. What each costs, how much of it you use, when it renews, and what each client’s share comes to.

With SOC Tally

Know what you pay for, and what you use.

  1. 01

    All in one place

Every subscription you pay for, monthly or yearly, with what it costs and what you bought.

  2. 02

    Usage from the tool

How much of each you use comes from the tool itself, so seats nobody uses stand out.

  3. 03

    Renewals flagged early

Each renewal shows the last day to give notice, so nothing renews by surprise.

  4. 04

    Shared across clients

Each cost is split by what every client uses, equally, or kept as overhead.

Into each client’s margin

What each client really costs to serve.

Each client’s share of your subscriptions sits in their margin, beside what they pay you. Seats you bought and nobody uses show as a cost of their own.

FAQ

Questions we get asked.

Which subscriptions can it track?

Any you pay for to run the service, monthly or yearly.

How is this different from billing my clients?

Billing is what your clients pay you. Subscription and licence tracking is what you pay for the tools your service runs on. A licence you resell is both, billed to the client and tracked as a cost, and the two meet in each client’s margin.

Can it be automated?

Yes. Usage, and costs where the tool reports them, are pulled automatically through integrations. If your tool isn’t one yet, tell us and we’ll look into building it.

How is a subscription split across clients?

By what each client uses, equally, or not at all, as overhead.

Does SOC Tally pay the subscriptions?

No. It tracks what each one costs and when it renews. You pay them as you do now.
